Her call to ministry was informed and deepened community organizing in Durham, NC, working at La Casa del Migrante in Tijuana, Mexico, and studying the Holocaust as part of the Fellowships at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics in Berlin. Ali is passionate about building relationships between the church and its neighborhood, gathering to break bread with neighbors, andwriting at the intersection of faith and public life. In her free time, she enjoys camping, walking the lakes, and trying to locate the best tacos in town.
